We are UK Registered Charity no. 1085365. We exchange information and expertise with other charities and organisations, but we maintain our own independence to enable the idea of a network to function as smoothly as possible. We support families with special needs through regular sponsors. By fundraising and through donations we can sometimes help with a particularly difficult problem. Everyone works voluntarily for Network Gloria and administration expenses are paid for by minor fundraising events specifically for this purpose, by donations from people who understand that communication needs funding and by our Gift Aid scheme.

All our families are carefully vetted through a visit by our trustees and by keeping regularly in touch. Medical documents are available from Romania. Some families need regular help to buy vitamins or incontinence pads. Receipts are available. Some need help to pay for speech therapy, physiotherapy or for surgery, which can make such a difference to their lives. In reality, under the present system, many of our disadvantaged families are asked to pay a contribution they cannot afford in order to receive the help they need. What seems a relatively small amount to us can seem like a small fortune to them. Sponsors could share a family or an individual.
